Whenever you go to a login page for Just1Key, you are using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to
communicate with it, throughout your session. Therefore you should always see the SSL 'Lock' icon
in the lower right-hand corner of your browser when logging in.
If using J1K Ultra-Secure for the first time, you will need to accept its digitally signed
Java applet certificate in order for it to work (which runs the Hush Encryption Engine
TM by Hush
Communications) -- please see our
FAQ or the
HushMail.com information
for more.
If J1K Ultra-Secure does not load correctly on your particular system, then you can always use
J1K Mobile instead, as it does not require a signed Java applet and is compatible almost everywhere.
The SSL certificates used for both J1K Ultra-Secure and J1K Mobile versions are issued to the
hushmail.com and crimsonata.com domains, respectively. Specifically, mailserver1.hushmail.com
and secure03.crimsonata.com are using Comodo Class 3 SSL Certificates, and we will
always email our Premium users beforehand if these secure domain names or certificates are to
be changed.
